Sheridan WY

My son, Steve Jr is completing his education at the University of Nebraska in the field of geology. I asked him to take me somewhere that he could explain to me what his education was all about. He selected Yellowstone National Park. In the summer of 2006, we flew to Sheridan WY and rented a car (that is another story). We drove to Yellowstone and spent four of the most fantastic days exploring the park and enjoying some special times. The following represents a pictorial of that trip.

If you have never been to Yellowstone, you should go. It is something that everyone should do at least once in their lifetime.

Upon arrival at the Sheridan WY airport, we picked up our economy car. Well, at least we tried to pick up our economy car. We had made reservations with Enterprise-Rent-a-Car, but they had no cars when we arrived. Avis was kind enough to hunt down a car for us at a reasonable price, and we were not too disappointed to have a Hummer. As the old joke goes, " I asked for an economy car, but got a hummer instead. Boy was that nice"
